Right before Christmas last year I was in such a giving mood, I wanted to help out in some way, but wasn't sure how. I was scrolling Facebook and saw a post in my photography group that I belong to. My friend Ashley over at Ashley Taylor photography had had a similar idea and was giving out a free shoot to a deserving family. Only thing is, she had so many submissions that she couldn't decide who to give it to. Ashley opened it up to volunteers and I was on it so fast, I may have been the first person to respond. That's how I got to meet Kristen! Kristen's friend Angie nominated her and her four kids for a family shoot. They had a tough year and could use some happy new pictures. I'm so glad I got to photograph this crew! They were so sweet and braved the cold 20 degree temps! Take a look at my favorites and leave these guys some love in the comments!
