I've known Willow since forever! Our parents were friends before we were even in the picture. I loved getting to catch up with her and meet her husband, Matt. All three of us are from the Portland, Oregon area, now living in Utah. It has been an adjustment for sure! As an Oregonian, we need a healthy dose of pine trees and rain. Which you have to get creative to find in Utah! Tibble Fork Reservoir is one of my favorite spots in Utah! It just feels like the Pacific Northwest! Willow and Matt were perfect for this location! The pictures we made are full of magic - literally! We even made a butterfly friend :) You have to be some kind of woodland fairy princess for that to happen. And can we please talk about Matt's awesome beard?! He was growing it out to be in the new Book of Mormon films they are making. So basically, he's a movie star! haha. Willow and her sister, Heather, run the Instagram account, The Braided Sisters where they feature new and fun hairstyles. I loved getting to take a few shots of Willows awesome boho braids! Check them out for fun inspiration!
