I met Ashley during our first year of college at BYU-Idaho. We lived a few dorms down from each other, were in the same ward, and became the best of friends. We did so much stupid stuff that year - including dying strips of our hair teal and having to pin it up whenever we went to class because, #honorcode. Ashley is one of those people that you can pick up right where you left off, no matter how much time has past. Luckily we get to see each other a lot more since Ashley moved to the same city! I was so happy to have her close again, instead of states away! I was so thrilled to take their family pictures at the end of summer this year! The golden light mixed with the yellow sunflowers was a perfect send off of the season! 

     During the shoot we hung out and I just had the best time capturing her sweet little family. Tina, her oldest is exactly a year older than Jones! They both are born on April 18th! It was the best being able to capture her and Mia's personality! Especially because Mia made me work for it! It took a bit, but eventually she warmed up to me and by the end of the shoot we had so many cute pictures of her I didn't know how Ashley was going to decide! I love how their session turned out and can't wait to see the prints hanging on the walls of their new house! (Don't worry, it's not the same city, but it is still super close!)
