Whenever I have clients who need help with finding the perfect outfit for their shoot, and they've already read my style guide, I like to send them to a few of my go-to places that always have cute things to work with anyone's style. Not to mention, photograph beautifully! Most of my list is made up of other small businesses because I believe it is so important to shop small and support local families.

1. Mae Wholesale

     I found Mae through my sister in law. It started out as a private Facebook Group and has grown to a website. I love Mae for the very reason at getting trendy, boutique quality items at an excellent price! I've even been able to find dresses here that are also sold at other boutiques for half the price! I call that a win! In fact, it's where I got this dress for my latest headshots!

2. Piper and Scoot

     Piper and Scoot is one of those dangerous stores that you just want to buy everything from. My addiction started when they opened up their store front about a mile or two from my house. Super dangerous. I love being able to go in and try stuff on - which is a big plus with me! Makayla wore this dress for her senior pictures last year. 

3. Roolee

     Roolee is great in the fact that not only does it have amazing clothes for women, but it also has a KIDS SECTION! Woo! Pictures are one of the few occasions where I don't feel guilty buying my little guy cute, trendy clothes and Roolee has them all! 4. Journey 5

     Another one of those awesome online shops for women's clothing as well as kids! I love that they have such a great selection and they are always having a "Deal of the Day" that is tempting! 

5. H&M

     This is the only suggestion on my list that isn't a small business. I love H&M for their little boy clothes! I never knew how hard it was to find cute outfits for boys until I had my little guy. H&M has been our go to for Jones for his Easter and Birthday outfits. Every year I'd go from shop to shop to find him a cute Easter Outfit that wasn't just the standard suit, tie, and brightly colored collard shirt. Every year I end back at H&M and find what I'm looking for in two seconds.  (Here's his two year old picture)
