I've been getting pretty baby hungry with all these babies I've been photographing lately. (Despite that I already have a five month old.) Tanner is one of my oldest friends. We grew up together in Oregon and spent much of our summers together with our group. I've had the honor of being able to photograph many milestones. First, with his engagements with his sweet wife, Lauren, and then with the birth of their first born, Oliver. So when Tanner messaged me about photographing their newest addition, Brinley, I was over the moon! Just like with Oliver's pictures, I had them come to my house for the photoshoot. (Normally I go to my clients for newborns, but with them being in a basement apartment, this was the better choice - light wise.) The whole fam came with, dressed in their photoshoot outfits. I always try to force Jones into friendships with my friends kids, and lucky for me, that has never been hard, but I don't think a forced friendship has ever evolved so effortlessly as it did between Oliver and Jones. They are about 4 months apart and already fast friends. It was so cute to hear "baby Tanner" and "baby Whitney" playing together in the other room while I photographed Brinley. Miss Brinley had other plans, however. That cute little girl made us work for it! You'd never be able to tell from the pictures! Lauren brought some fresh lavender and baby's breath to play around with, along with a variety of scarves, bows and special items. When we were wrapping up the images on the bed, we got Brinley dressed in the same diaper cover and set her up with my sheepskin and basket to replicate the shot we took of Oliver. Lauren was so excited to have matching shots to frame and hang on the wall! I love these pictures and am so blessed to call the Beseaus friends.
