The holidays are here! This year, my cute friend and neighbor, Kara decided to host a Friendsgiving with a couple other friends in the neighborhood. Kara was so on top of it that I think we started planning and blocking out a date for it in September! She mentioned how she had always wanted to have a friendsgiving so she went for it! Come to find out, I had been thinking the same thing. We were all so excited and started volunteering for assignments. The 23rd rolled around and we were ready! Jones helped me make mashed potatoes, gravy, corn and green beans. We also brought a french silk and lemon cream pie. (In total there was 5 pies to 6 adults and 4 kids. Not a bad ratio.)

     If you know Kara, then it will come as no surprise that the table and house was decked out with beautiful fall decorations. She created the tablescape with a pine garland and mini pumpkins. Each seat at the table displayed our names in the cutest handmade card holders that Kara and Justin had made. Just when it couldn't get any cuter I noticed that she had made name cards for the kids' table too! The night was filled with so much good food and great conversation. The kids played so well together and we all decided that this was going to be an annual tradition! Before everyone left for the night I had us take a group picture. In hindsight we should have done this before we started eating and the kids (aka Jones) was happier/cooperative, but it is what it is. (Enjoy the progression of a runaway three year old!) Thanks again for hosting Kara, it was a beautiful night with beautiful friends!
