10 Things You Might Not Know About Me | Whitney Beth Photography

1. I have monkey toes. For real. I can hold a pen and write my name with both feet. Not to mention my big toes look like someone sewed a man's thumb onto my feet. Super attractive I know.

2. I have a thing with textures. It's the reason I don't like tomatoes and beans.

3. I have mild Vitiligo, the disease that causes random patches of skin to loose pigmentation. It's only really noticeable in the summer, thanks to my Irish heritage, but the tips of my fingers have no pigment. My eyelids are pigment-less as well as my armpits and places along my hips.

4. My palms are tickle-ish and I have passed that (terrible) trait onto all of my kids so far. (That was how my dad would wake me up for school in the mornings)

5. My love language is physical touch

6. I wanted to give the name Rose, to my childhood dog, but was so mad to find out that my parents vetoed me and named her Angel - since she was our Christmas Angel. Still not over it.

7. Speaking of names, I got a kitten for my 10th birthday and wanted to name her "Love-ums." I thought it was THE cutest name I had ever heard. Somehow my parents convinced to settle on "Snuggles." I am so glad I listened to them that time.

8. So far, my only run in with the law has been when, freshly graduated from high school, a group of my friends and I hopped a fence to play on the playground at the local elementary school. Some neighbor called the cops thinking we were dealing or doing drugs. Really we were just there to swing.

9. Campfire smells like the beach to me.

10. Chocolate milk was a delicacy in the house growing up. With ten kids and only a gallon or two, our motto was always, "Drink as much as you can, as fast as you can, before anyone else can." When Danny and I were first married and bought some chocolate milk I made myself so sick by chugging as much it as I could, purely out of habit. If I'm not paying attention, to this day, I still make myself sick drinking chocolate milk.
