I can't tell you how grateful I have been this year to keep working and to continue taking everyone's family pictures - especially my own family! I, just like everyone else, has been seriously lacking in the family get together department. So when I get an hour to hang out with my favorite people, doing my favorite thing, I am all for it! It was so good to see my brother in law, his wife and my cute nieces and nephews for an hour! When Mindi and I were deciding a location, we were trying to find something neutral and not totally dead looking that was also not too terrible of a drive (coming from Spanish Fork and Draper.) I had heard my photo friends talk about the Lindon Marina and after a quick Google search decided it would work! I was hoping to get more of a Saltair/Great Salt Lake feel - except too bad for me, I forgot to account for the water levels rising and there being practically no beach! haha! Luckily I got there before my family and was able to scout out a great little spot across from the beach by the reeds. It ended up being a perfect little spot that, between their outfits, the golden sunset and the water matched perfectly! It was so much fun taking their pictures and hanging out and I'm low key obsessed with how they turned out! Here are a few of my favorites from the session.
