I hope you all had an excellent Easter. It was way different than any other Easters I've ever had, but it was nice. We woke up and the kids found their baskets and had an Easter Egg hunt. After that we all got ready in our Easter clothes (Luckily I had bought them earlier in the year before all this craziness - I've learned as a boy mom you have to grab their clothes as soon as they come out if you want cute options. Plus it also helps that these are their birthday picture outfits.) We had our own Easter home church by listening to a video message put on by the leaders of our area. We talked to Jones and Fields about how Christ overcame death, and that through him we can all live again. After lunch we went on a walk throughout our neighborhood and left Easter candy at friends' houses. We came home, did a drive by "hello" to my parents and chatted from the car. Once we got home I set to work making Easter dinner. (We had beef stroganoff.) I loved all the quality family time we were able to have.
Earlier in the month I asked for people to send in pictures that they wanted myself dressed as the Easter bunny photoshopped in. It was such a fun project and I loved getting to share a little bit of joy out in the world.
Enjoy!
