It's time for my family's yearly torture - family pictures. This year was a big one. EVERYONE was home. That means no stick heads, no one was pregnant, all the kids were born, and all ten of the OG Jones kids and their families were in one place. We only had a week of togetherness, but we'll take what we can get! That meant driving up to north Salt Lake to visit Tunnel Springs! I planned our outfits with not only the landscape in mind, but weddings. Two of the three weddings we had last year had either olive green or mustard as the colors. So yes, your bridesmaids dress can be worn again. Pictures went as usual, I set up my tripod and threatened my siblings and they promptly ignored my threats and made faces anyways. All in good fun. ha. We also had good timing too - since a week later I started hearing rattlesnake sighting reports! If my mom knew about the snakes there was no way she'd ever agree to that location! It was incredibly windy that day - which was a bummer, since last year's pictures were also windy at the salt flats. But you just can't beat that golden light filtering through all of our blowing hair! We finished up just as the sun dipped below the horizon and walked back to the car in blue hour. Until next year!
