Thanks to Corona, everyone's plans were kinda thrown out the window. But I've been so impressed with how everyone is handling it and taking it in stride - especially with the increase in "elopements." I say that with quotation marks because the trend isn't so much actually eloping as it is having an small, intimate wedding. That was not the case with Tianna and Wyatt. On June 6th, 2020 they told their parents just hours before that they were eloping. They managed to sneak by and get married at 11 something at night up the canyon. In fact it was so close to midnight that after they were pronounced man and wife and exchanged rings, the lights went out at the pavilion since it had reached midnight. How's that for a crazy, covid wedding! Now here we are a few months later in prep for their original wedding day which was changed to a ring ceremony and reception. Tianna is one of nieces and I was lucky enough to get to spend some one on one time with the happy couple and my newest nephew. We drove up Big Cottonwood Canyon to Jordan Pines. It was beautiful (and packed!) and we were graced with some nice, warm, golden sun and so much greenery that it is easy to see why this is one of my favorite places to go for fun and for pictures. In true Tianna fashion, she had all the bling, including her 6 inch, pink sparkly heels. Ti took the trials like a champ and sure used the location to break them in. We hiked all over the hillside and back towards the parking lot. I love hitting up the pine side of the creek and was so happy to stumble upon a small patch of yellow wildflowers. They were perfectly placed and helped frame Tianna and Wyatt perfectly! Welcome to the family, Wyatt! Here's to many more happy years!
