It's been about three weeks since these two love birds tied the knot. Cheers to all you Corona brides because this day, I'm sure, wasn't like anything you could've imagined. Makayla and Brian were married on Thursday, January 21st, 2021 and they had their reception the next day on the 22nd. Since we're in the middle of a pandemic a lot has changed for what weddings look like currently. Especially for LDS brides. Normally the bride and groom can invite whoever they want that has a temple recommend to come view the sealing (aka wedding) but thanks to Covid that changed to only allowing 16 guests in. We've never been so thankful to have brothers on missions before since that freed up seats for siblings, but even with a brother on both sides out in the mission field Makayla and Brian were still one sibling over the limit and our poor sister in law graciously sat the sealing out. Since it was so small and not everyone could even be there Makayla had me do the temple exit pictures and a quick group shot of everyone who was in attendance (which I practically had to beg her for - every bit needs to be documented!) After the quickest group picture ever - I'm talking 3 minutes with my tripod and remote control lol, I quickly took Makayla and Brian aside for a few pictures of just them in their temple whites. Normally, brides change into their whites when they arrive and change into their wedding dress on their way out as man and wife, same with the grooms and their suites. But in keeping with pandemic procedures these two arrived and left as man and wife in their whites. How cool that despite the circumstances, these pictures are a part of history!

(PSA one of the temple workers told me that come August the temple will be closed for a month so they can make this exit pretty - which also leads me to believe that brides and grooms will no longer be exiting out the main doors.)
