I'm an aunt again! My brother and his wife had their second baby, Everest on the fourth of July this year! (He's four days older than Remington!) Which is funny since my brother was due on the fourth of July. Normally I suggest taking newborns earlier than a month old, but when your photographer has also just had a baby and is recovering.. this is what you get. Luckily with lifestyle type sessions it's more relaxed and easy going. We photographed their pictures in their home. Ayla, my niece, is still getting used to sharing the attention, but she loved loving on baby brother. We had a fun little evening together, loving all the baby snuggles - especially since I brought Remmy along for the ride. My favorite little detail is the necklace Jenna is wearing. She found the cutest little pendant necklace with mountains on it for Everest. When Jenna was pregnant with Ayla, I painted a piece for Ayla's nursery. It was a mountain range and I hand lettered over top of it, "Let her sleep, for when she wakes, she will move mountains." Never has that been more true now that her little brother, Everest is here!
