Holiday Photo Checklist

You guys! I can hardly believe that we are in November now! Every year as soon as November hits, the rest of the year seems to fly by. It's no secret that I love documenting real life. If you're new here, I have taken a picture every single day since 2011. Documenting is second nature to me. I am well aware I am the oddball out. Most people don't shop for diaper bags with the intent of using half of it as a a camera bag or vice versa. Pictures are important, but sometimes it can be hard to pull out the camera when you feel like you aren't doing anything special. Or in this case - the holidays are here and you've got so much running around to do that you forget and don't make time to capture these memories.

Well, good news for you guys. I created this labor of love; a Holiday Photo Checklist! The best part is it starts now and ends in December. I created this list as a way to check off some common and uncommon moments that happen in the last two months of the year.

Some of these prompts are pretty typical, like "fall family photo," and others like, "raking the leaves" are something that you wouldn't think to pull out your camera. both are equally beautiful.

I loved looking back at my photos for ideas. I want that same feeling for you guys. There are only 26 prompts. Way doable for two months worth. Not only do I want you guys to get in the habit of capturing your everyday life, but I want to see it! Use the hashtag #WBPholidayphotochecklist so that I can see them! There may be something special for the participants at the end of the year. You never know ;)

Because who doesn't want to see the first snow fall of the season or what your little one looks like when the tree is all decorated and lit up? Think about how fun it'll be to start this fun tradition of documenting. Take a screen shot of the checklist, or sign up here for my newsletter and get the pdf download. Don't forget to tag #WBPholidayphotochecklist so I can see! Happy documenting!
