It's no secret that pine trees are my most favorite tree. They remind me of Oregon where I grew up, green all year round, smell amazing, and are a reminder of my angel baby, Banks. So when I learned that the Alpine tree farm was closing after this year I knew I had to have pictures taken here! Throughout my entire childhood, Christmas officially started once we loaded up the van and drove out to one of the many Christmas tree farms in the valley. It usually consisted of every kid standing by a tree trying to argue their point for why theirs was the best and should be brought home. Since moving to Utah, Christmas tree farms are a rare sight. Making this last photoshoot with Beck's tree farm worthwhile. 

     I've talked about how much I love my photo community and how much like a family it feels. Case in point being our pictures! My beautifully talented friend, Katelyn over at Katelyn Faye Photography is a wedding photographer. Not only is she one of the sweetest souls you will ever meet, she is insanely talented at what she does! She graciously agreed to photograph my little family among the pines. We probably reminded her why she is a wedding photographer, especially being that we brought our dogs and at one point Jones threw a pine cone that nailed her square in the forehead. (Sorry again, girl!) But she did a phenomenal job at capturing us. She also gave me permission to edit our photos so that they'd match my style. Talk about a pal! I love our pictures so much and it is so nice giving control to a photographer so that I can relax and actually be in them! Most of the time I enlist the help of a sibling (aka human tripod) to snap the picture while I direct everything from in front of the camera. All the more reason to hire a professional! Anyways, I'm obsessed with these, so here they are so you can be too!
