After a rough year, Danny and I were so looking forward to our California trip we had planned. We would be meeting up with four of Danny's siblings in Disneyland! (One of which we were carpooling with.) We drove down to Manti, Sunday the 25th and got a fresh start to CA the next morning. Danny and I have slowly been taking all my siblings to Disneyland over the course of our marriage, and Thomas was the lucky one this time! We drove straight to Santa Monica Pier and spent the evening hanging out by the beach. Jones even got to feed a sea lion from a guy selling fish! We all loved playing in the water and finding sand dollars. I ended up finding three whole ones! We couldn't get my little beach bum out of the water and on the way back to the car decided that everything must be wet and sat straight down in a puddle. 

     The next day we did Universal Studios. Starting off with meeting Spongebob and Patrick! Jonesy was a little star struck. It was a nice day of exploring Hogwarts and all the other attractions. Jones and I spent a lot of time in Jurassic Park since we both couldn't ride any of the big rides. We met Blue multiple times. haha. We also got to see the Animal Actor's show and pet some of the dogs and cats afterwards. We ended the day eating at the Hard Rock Cafe for Amy and visiting Voodoo Donuts. 

     The remainder of our time in CA was spent in Disneyland! This was Jones' first time at Disneyland (although he has been to Disney World before - he'll probably remember this one!) We met up with more family and cousins and spent the next few days playing at the park. I'm happy to say Jones loved meeting Characters this time! It was so much fun (and exhausting) but it helped that Jones and I went about the same pace thanks to baby brother. One of the days rained nearly non stop the entire day! We were drenched! But call us true Disney fans (or stubborn people who had already boughten our tickets) we endured! Our trip ended Saturday and we drove home to Utah to return to the real world. Can't wait until next time!
