This has been an exciting year in the Jones household. If you lost track, let me do a recap for you; Austin and Jenna got married September 26th, 2018, fast forward to May 2nd when Julie marries Mitch, Fields is born just 12 days later on the 14th, come July 26th Robert and Olivia get married, and now here we are in October and baby Jones is due to make her debut. That's a lot of new family members! It's no secret that I love being the oldest, I thrive on being in charge. (My siblings may call it power drunk, but whatever.) But as we all get older, I love it even more. I love watching my siblings grow up, find their person, and now, in Austin's case, bring babies into this world. This little lady is already so loved by everyone we couldn't be happier. 

     During our photoshoot I kept going back and forth with my emotions. On one hand the air was literally thick with mosquitos and I was being eaten alive. I'm also allergic, so image 26 mosquito bites (through my clothes even!) swelling while I try to use up all the light. The other part of me was trying to not tear up. (I blame the hormones) watching my little brother interact with the love of his life and just feeling the palpable love he has for his two best girls was 100% worth the bug bites. We rushed through the shoot as fast as we could so that we could retreat safely to the cars. It was a whirlwind of a shoot and left me wondering if we had even gotten anything. There is no better feeling than thinking you are inadequate only to pop in your memory card and discover that you've captured gold. The warm sun and emotions in the images take over and you're left with art. I'm honored to have been able to photograph some of the last moments before this couple becomes a family of three.
