The homestretch. The third trimester was one big, uncomfortable check list. On top of my normal anxiety about getting this baby here, I had to prep for maternity leave AND help design/plan my sister's wedding (which I would be attending just days shy of being 38 weeks pregnant. as a bridesmaid.) But I tell you what, you want a pregnancy to go by fast? Give yourself a never ending "to-do" list and then completely book yourself out in photoshoots. But in all seriousness I was and am so thankful for all the distractions and things that needed to get done this trimester. Without it I think I would've had a lot harder time coping with my anxiety. That's the way I operate - in projects, and this last bit was filled with tons!

Weeks 29 + 30

Realizing just how little time I had left resulted in more things being added to the "before baby" checklist as well as some serious calendar planning to make sure it all gets done before baby. Jonesy was also able to feel his little brother kick and move and it is now a favorite past time of his. 

Week 31

I almost ended up driving myself to the hospital today, I thought I might've gone into labor, but after talking with my OB it was decided that it was really bad Braxton Hicks mixed with this lovely thing called, "Lightning Crotch" which is as delightful as it sounds. 

Week 32 + 100% bumpin' now! 

Weeks 33 + 34

I talked with my OB about possibly having you induced on my due date since I went 10 days over with Jones (and still had to be induced.) My doctor said that they could start doing membrane sweeps at 37 weeks and if my cervix was favorable that I could be induced during my 39th week!

35 Weeks

The nursery is done and my shoes are limited to slip ons. 

36 weeks + feeling it. Especially after throwing Jonesy his three year old birthday party. Less than two weeks until the wedding!

37 + 38 weeks

We are now full term! The wedding is done and over with and at my last appointment my doctor said I was dilated to a two and 70% effaced. He also scheduled my INDUCTION for the 14th of May! Regardless, I'm having a baby in a week! I'll be 39 weeks + 3 days. But he could come anytime. I'm just so relieved I don't have to go past my due date of the 18th!! 

39 weeks

It's the final countdown. I go in to have baby in three days. It's about to get real real.
