Mitchell + Julie Fisher's Formals | Salt Lake City Family + Senior Photographer

They are MARRIED! Mitch and Julie were married in the Draper Temple on May 2nd, 2019. Most of you know I don't take on many weddings, but when it's my baby sister and her cute new husband I happily agree. The deal with my siblings is I will take all their photos prior to the wedding day - that I leave in the capable hands of one of my many photographer friends. Exactly a week ago Mitch, Julie and I were all surrounded by the beautiful trees at the Provo Orchard. Being a Thursday and right before the bloom we had the place almost all to ourselves. We were blessed with pockets of blossoms and amazing light. Julie had her makeup trial run that day and the super talented Sarah with Sarah Hicken Artistry and looked absolutely stunning! (Sarah is my go to girl for alllll my makeup needs.) Our session turned out beautifully and I took literally hundreds of pictures! While editing them, my little sidekick, Jones, kept saying, "Look! It's Mitch and Princess Julie!" He was spot on! Julie looks just like a princess! When we were little girls, we all had our own princess. Mine was Belle, Makayla had Cinderella and Julie had Sleeping Beauty. I had Julie and Mitch "dance" for a few frames and I couldn't help but smile at how much Julie looks like Princess Aurora when she's dancing with Prince Phillip in the woods. Even the lighting was cooperating.

I have loved getting to know Mitch and being able to welcome him into the family. He fits right in! But the best part is seeing how happy he makes Julie! Being on the brides side of things with this wedding has allowed me a front row seat to the planning and organizing and (subtle) suggestions - that's what big sisters are for! It has been so fun to help design Julie's dream day! Today all that hard work from everyone involved payed off and I am happy to announce them as Mr. & Mrs. Fisher! Welcome to the family Mitch! We sure love you!
