One of the wonderful things about my photo community that I am a part of is all of the wonderful people I get to meet and interact with. A few years ago I met up with Taynee Miller and her sweet family. Taynee and I agreed to swap family pictures. For some reason these beautiful images hadn't made it onto my blog yet! We shot around Daybreak lake and were blessed with golden light and a purply sunset by the docks. It was also on this shoot that my shutter gave up the ghost and I learned that I had one of the recalled Nikon D750's. Luckily it was at the end of the shoot and Taynee and I were doing a trade, but still. Those potential shots that I missed still haunt me to this day! I know that sounds dramatic, but it's true! Thankfully the Millers were good sports about it and we were able to capture some stunning images earlier in the shoot. It's been so fun to see where my clients and subjects end up. Since this shoot Taynee and Parker have moved to CA where Parker just graduated from Stanford. They've also added their little man, Kallen to the mix. Their family photos are still some of my favorites I've taken!
