Hey there! I’ve had quite a few new followers on Instagram lately that I thought it was about time to do another “about me.” I understand that there are SO MANY talented photographers out there, so why hire me? The only thing that sets me apart from everyone else is ME! So by doing these little “get to know you” posts I hope I’m building that connection with you and that you’ll think of me the next time you need pictures! 

1. I am a 28 year old that just got braces for the first time in her life. (Thank you TMJ) and as a result now look like I’m 15. It’s fine. 
2. If I had to only watch two TV shows for the rest of my life they would be New Girl and Parks and Rec.
3. I have a complicated answer when people ask me how many kids I have; I say 5, but three live in heaven. I have two boys earth side, I delivered another son as a stillborn and I’ve had two miscarriages.
4. Whenever it’s city clean up and everyone has all their junk out on the curb to be picked up, I have to resist the urge to dig through to find treasures. I can’t help it, it’s the Larsen in me. (My Mom’s side of the family.)
5. I like to make vacation movies and piece together clips from our adventures.
6. I teach art classes out of our home studio (converted garage) to the local neighborhood kids (when there's not a pandemic, ha!) 
7. I love flowers, houseplants and gardening and if I wasn't a photographer I'd love to be a florist who owns her own greenhouse.
8. I love shooting personal stuff on film - but have a drawer full of ready-to-be-developed rolls just waiting to be sent off. 
9. I have a bachelor of science in art and visual communications with an emphasis in photography and a minor in art history. And the only reason I finished was because my husband bribed me with a puppy. 
10. I like Diet Pepsi better than Diet Coke
