My cute niece and her new husband got married March 28th, 2020. They are one of the many wedding couples whose special day was effected by Covid-19. The original plan was to get married in the Manti temple and then have a reception later that evening. As the pandemic grew and restrictions were put in place, all their plans were slowly whittled away until the final blow of all the LDS temples closing just three days before they were to wed. They decided to carry on with their wedding and got married by their bishop with their immediate family present. Kristina (my sister in law) is a decorating goddess and I had no doubt that their intimate wedding would look as beautiful as Audrey did in her wedding dress that she designed. After these two were officially married and exchanged rings, they cut their wedding cake. I snuck them outside for a quick couples session while they waited for it to get dark and everyone enjoyed their dessert. We ended the night with the release of a paper lantern. Despite not having anything go according to their original plan, it was a beautiful day for Aaron and Audrey Jackman.
