It feels so good to be out shooting again! (Even if I still am practicing social distancing - I'll take what I can get.) My beautiful sister in law had me come over and take a few front porch pictures of her crew to document their time spent at home. The session was quick (I'm sure to Sammy's delight) But even being 6 feet away, it still felt SO GOOD to see and talk to family in real life. I come from a pretty close family and am lucky enough to have been married into a close family. We have Sunday dinner every other week with all the Robbins kids in the valley and it has been SO LONG since we've seen them! It's also crazy how much the kids seem to have grown! Linds is looking especially tall and not like a little girl anymore! Sam also had a growth spurt and is right behind Linds. I'm so thankful that I was able to see them and that Sarah wanted these pictures taken. Nothing like this has happened in such a long time, that by having pictures taken and documented is preserving history! I can't wait to be able to look back on these when this mess is long gone! But until then, I'll just keep plugging along as the self appointed family historian.
