This was my first time shooting at the Mantua Poppies and I am obsessed. I can tell why this is one of the "photo hot spots" in Utah. The Mantua poppies are at the Boxelder campsite up passed Brigham City. It's a cute, little meadow full of big, luscious, red, poppies. Just from observing and being in the photo community I knew that it gets crazzzzy crowded during the poppy bloom, and if there's one thing I hate, it's photoshopping people out of a busy background. Luckily my clients are amazing and don't even bat an eye when I tell them to meet me at the field at 7:30 am. I've been photographing these cuties since they were newborns. (Their mom and I are best friends who grew up together.) We decided on a quick mini session of just the girls since they are always getting their pictures taken. It was perfect, and we shot for maybe 10 minutes? The morning sun was perfect for the space and provided the yummiest back light. I'm obsessed with their pictures and I think I've convinced myself that I need new samples of my products just so that I have an excuse to print these up for my office! When in doubt, neutrals and solids are always a good idea for picture outfits! If you're interested in family sessions or children mini sessions feel free to contact me! I'd love to be your photographer! You can see more of my work on Instagram.
