The class of 2020n is definitely one for the books. Who could've predicted all that would happened? But if there's one thing I've observed and noticed from this class is that they take it with stride. Every senior I've talked to is handling everything so well! Sure it blows and isn't at all what they envisioned the last year of high school looking like, but what can you do except move forward. Fin has that same attitude and it shows. In just the little time I got to know him, I could tell he was one resilient guy. I got in contact with Fin from Mr. Packer at Alta High School - aka my uncle in law. He helped make it possible for me to take Fin's senior pictures. I'm so glad that he did too, because these are some of my favorite pictures! (and that's not just the starved for photography, covid home bound, side of me talking!)
We ended up shooting up Big Cottonwood Canyon at Storm Mountain Park and the amphitheater across the street. It was PERFECT! Come to find out during the session that Fin actually comes out here to climb! I love how that little detail instantly adds so much value to this location. Fin is set to leave for basics soon, so we did some photos in his uniform with and without his cap and gown and then in his student body sweater. The lighting was perfect and Fin was a good sport and humored all my lame jokes. (I'm not ashamed to admit I had sooo much fun joking around with his camo!) It was a beautiful session and just what I needed to kick off getting back into work.
I would LOVE to take your senior pictures. Please contact me to book your senior session. To view more of my work, follow me on Instagram.
