Wild Lavender Portraits | Maddy | Whitney Beth Photography

One of the bennefits (or curse) of being my sister is I will take you on location scouting trips to find random places with vague directions. This was one of those times. In my photo community I had heard word of a patch of wild lavender in a vacant lot in Daybreak. All I had to go off of was a few landmarks and the general area it was in. With my boys strapped into their car seats and nap time due to strike on the drive, I had my sister throw on a dress and come out with me for a quick adventure. We found the spot and were blessed with overcast skies to diffuse the sun and did a quick 5 minute portrait session. It’s crazy to think that this spot is on a vacant lot in the middle of a neighborhood!
