Every time I have an extended family session on the calendar I get so happy! I love photographing them! Plus, I walk away with that many new friends! The Ferguson family called me up to have me photograph their amazing family at the house that Jeff and Elaine raised their kids in. They had just bought a new house in St George and listed their sweet little Midvale home, and wanted to have one last hoorah together as a family before this chapter in their lives closed. Their kids from all over came to celebrate with a bbq and family pictures. Jeff had worked so hard in the backyard and it was beautiful! The light shining through the trees was absolutely stunning! They were troopers and we managed three different family group poses as well as individual families and singles of each of the grandkids (and grandpup!) My favorite group picture is where I have them all hugging and Silver, Taylor's service dog, had had enough of that and looks like he's standing to the side, judging them all! haha! But in all seriousness the Ferguson's are such a lovely, kind family and I loved getting to document their last family party at the family home. I'm thrilled with how their photos turned out and can't wait for their album and the rest of their print order to come in! Something about seeing special pictures like these in print make the memories more tangible. Best of luck in St George, Jeff and Elaine! I can't wait for all the new memories you'll make down there!
