It’s time for my own extended family pictures! I’ve been dragging my family out to take pictures now for nearly 13 years now for yearly family pictures. We’ve been so lucky to have nearly everyone together for family pictures - give or take a few missions throughout the years (can you spot Thomas’ stick head? Lol.) That’s why I’m so insistent that we take them, who knows what the future will look like for all the Jones kids being in one state. Since last year’s family picture we’ve added two babies and a brother in law! Out of the whole month we had literally one day that would work for everyone. With a group this size (and with some more reluctant than others for pictures) that was a feat in and of itself. My mom had talked about wanting to do a zombie photoshoot instead of the classic, normal pictures. That didn’t go over too well and it was dropped. Well about a week or two before pictures I got a text from my Dad saying that Mom was still pretty bummed about not taking zombie pictures and if there was anything I could do. So I sent out a text to my siblings and said I’d take care of the makeup, but everyone bring some torn up clothes to surprise Mom with Zombie pictures at the end of the session. I wish I would’ve recorded her reaction when we told her, she was so happy! How do you think they turned out?
