You guys should know by now that I go pretty hard for Halloween. Especially themed costumes. It's low-key one of my favorite perks to having kids and being married. I love finding a theme for our costumes - usually revolved around my boys' interest. Last year Jones was super into Wolverine so I decked us out in Rogue, Gambit, Wolverine and Professor X costumes. This year Fields' obsession of Spiderman took the lead. I was trying to think of something else we could be (hello spandex) but when Fields saw the Spiderman costume at Costco back in August, we were done for. He wore that thing so much I was worried it would be in rags by the time Halloween actually arrived. So now that Spiderman was the theme I had to figure out what the rest of us were going to be. Luckily Spiderman into the Spider-verse is a favorite around here, and there's even a girl character for me! ha! So it was decided. 

Let me just start off by saying there are very very few people that I would stuff myself into a spandex costume three months postpartum. These boys are lucky that I love them and don't want to risk the overall look of our costumes. haha. With that, I dressed up as Spider Gwen, aka Ghost Spider, Danny was Peter B Parker, Jones was Miles Morales, Fields was Peter Parker and Remington was Peter Porker. I love to make our costumes, but also know my limits so every other year I make them (usually depending on if I just had a baby) So this year I bought the majority of our costumes. I found a workout/compression shirt with Spiderman's suit on it for Danny. He already had the coat and I thrifted him some sweats. Easy peasy. Remmy was actually surprisingly harder since I couldn't find Spiderman footies anywhere! I ended up finding some 18 month pj's in the toddler section that were a little long, but worked! I'm most proud of his pig ears. I ordered a cat ear bonnet from China - hoping that it would pass for pig ears, and it did! So cute and it keeps little guy warm. Fields' Spiderman suit is from Costco and I got Jones and my suits from Amazon. I had my mom meet us at the wetlands park by our house and we did a quick 20 minute photoshoot of our costumes so I don't have to stress about it on Halloween night. What do you think? I'm pretty pleased with how they all turned out! Now bring on the trick or treating!
