Late Thursday night (10/17) as we were getting the boys settled for bed my phone rang from a group video chat with my family. Austin had started the call and I was first to notice the familiar decor of a hospital labor and delivery room! As more siblings joined the call we flooded Austin and Jenna with questions. Jenna's water had broken later that afternoon and after packing and getting as ready as you can ever be, drove to the hospital to have a baby! They checked in around 8 and once were settled started letting the family all know. Everyone made their predictions about little miss' arrival time and signed off to let Jenna get as much rest as she could. Danny and I went to bed, so excited to welcome our newest niece into the family.

The morning of the 18th I woke up early to get some work done before the boys woke up. I finished just as Fields started to stir. upon turning off my "do not disturb" from my phone at 8:30, I was ecstatic to see "baby's here!" flashed across my screen. Ayla Rose Jones was born October 18th, 8:21 am - 6 lbs 15 oz and 19.5" long in the American Fork Hospital. I am finally an aunt on the Jones side! After coordinating times, I loaded the boys up in my parent's van along with my siblings and we headed down to see that baby!

Sweet, little Ayla Rose is already so loved by so many. She was passed around from Grandma to aunts and uncles and Grandpa. The tiniest thing with lots of whispy baby hairs. I did a quick fresh 48 for Austin and Jenna in between meeting family and getting examined by nurses. Jenna did so good and looked radiant as she held her sweet little girl. Seeing my little brother become a dad has been one of the coolest, heartwarming things. So much love for this little squish.
