While searching my photo library for a specific photograph I stumbled upon this hidden gem. An entire photoshoot, unedited, and unseen. Back in 2016 I had just had Jones and was dying to get out and shoot the wildflowers. Only one problem, I didn't have anyone on the books since I had just barely come off of maternity leave. Having just graduated with my undergrad from UVU, I called one of my photo buddies, Clara. We were always photographing each other for school assignments and lucky for me, she agreed to be my model. This would've been my second time having a photoshoot up in my soon to be favorite place. We rode up the canyon together and were lucky enough to find a spot to park. (I miss the days of Albion Basin being a somewhat "calm" place to shoot, where you could usually find parking pretty quick!) I remember prancing along the game trails with Clara, getting eaten alive by mosquitos. 

    Finding this entire shoot was a gold mine! I had started editing a few, but never finished. It was neat to see how my editing has evolved as I went through and gave these pictures all new edits. Just goes to show you that you never stop growing and learning. So enjoy my walk down memory lane and take in that warm, summer sun glow. Currently Albion Basin is still under snow thanks to the wet spring we had, it'll be interesting to see how this years' bloom compares to years past!
